There's also the paper you can plant and it will grow flowers: http://www.plantablepaper.com/ (though I doubt I could make them grow; I have a thumb-of-death).

I wonder if there are any plants that would grow in a time frame so that when it comes to full bloom it is like the day before your wedding? Like something with a 30 or 40 day gestation?
