thanks for posting this. Whenever I click on a "green wedding" link, it inevitably leads me to a site that sells 9$ per invite mulberry invites and 4 dollar a piece organic pineapple salmon canapes. Thats not what I was going for. Im shooting for a 90% waste free wedding, composting all uneated food as well as the plates, napkins, forks and cups, which are all made of corn! And yeah, my food will be served on corn plates, not rented china, but srsly, who gives a rats ass?

One of the cool things about planning an eco-friendly wedding is thinking outside of the box, not buying it. I did pick a green location and we are having organic food, but we are also going hardcore on the reuse side by buying dishes that can be used over and over again at family functions and at parties to stop the use of disposable dishes. We are also going hardcore on the renew side by recycling everything else that can not be reused. I found going this route has saved me a ton of cash.
