I've been having no luck finding where to purchase a plain white mini-top hat.. I sadly even looked in one of those "build-a-bear" places. I was hoping to be able to find one thats silk but it seems most of the sellers of pre-made hats only make them with felt. I am heading to the craft store tomorrow! I thought it might be nice to kinda tie it on, bonnet style, with a nice satin or lace ribbon, with the bow on the side of your chin. I might just make one of these for fun and practice before I make one to match the dress I havn't picked out yet. One of my bridal orders pointed me here! Let me just add that if you can, sew stuff down instead of gluing it. You'll get a much better look. All my stuff is hand-sewn. Also, for attachment, I find that hair combs work really well. You can also sew elastic loops to the hat to use as attachment points for bobby pins.
