4 reasons rainy weddings rock
1. One word: umbrellas.
2. You get to wear Wellies and/or Crocs.
3. The diffused lighting, a photographer's wet dream. (Ouch! Pun!)
4. Did I mention fun with umbrellas?

Amen! No seriously, the rain makes all photographs better. I email my photo clients if their forecast is rainy to assure them it's one of the best forecasts to have.

Fashion alert: Wearing Crocs is not a plus. They will always be hideous.

Personally, I agree with you Joy — but the popularity of Crocs suggests we're in the relative minority.

Haha, crocs. I work in a daycare and just about every kid in the place wears them.

Want to here about rain?!?! We had tornado warnings, thunder/lightning (right overhead), torrential downpours and some gale-force winds for about 6 hours of our OUTDOOR wedding day celebrations. I opted for no shoes, and as the rain kept falling, eventually had to switch from my long skirt to pants. (The muddy water had wicked up to my knees) Although it did rain for most of the DAY, we stayed up all NIGHT, and it didn't rain again after midnight. Just in time to light the fireworks and 30' bonfire.

I love the rain and I love my crocks. The great thing is they come in a ton of colors and styles and comfort over style any day.
