before my fiance and I got engaged we had matching commitment rings, he wore his on the 'wedding' finger of his right hand and I wore mine on my middle finger.
Now we're engaged I have an engagement ring and he wears his commitment ring now on his 'wedding' finger of his left hand.
I don't wear mine any more after my cat swallowed it and poo'ed it out – I can't face it knowing where it's been!
