Like smashing a guitar after a performance, only dumber:
'Trash The Dress' is dumb (thanks for letting me plagiarize you, Jillian!)

Hey! My Dad told me about this website after hearing about it on the radio and I just can’t bring myself to look at it! I’m bored of searching through the bridal mags as it is with them only offering big white meringues! I’ve found a dressmaker that will make me a dress to my specifications with the strict instructions that I need to be able to wear it again (and for a fraction of the cost)! It makes me sad to see my friends £1000+ dresses hung up in the loft… let alone burnt! Give it to charity girls, or sell it on ebay! Some girl somewhere will appreciate the bargain and you’ll be warm in the knowledge you helped someone less fortunate create their dream day.
I hate rubbish websites, but this one is great

actually, the trash the dress website is beautiful. it's incredibly artistic, and if you really look on the website, it'll tell you that nearly all the dresses were NOT trashed, it's just called that. unless you're crazy and setting it on fire, it can still be preserved. really, it just makes for more beautiful pictures!
i would think a website as forward as this one would be open to that idea!

Alexandra, I'm open to the artistic images of the dresses being worn in dramatic situations, but I find the idea behind it kind of repugnant. The website states: "Why not show your husband how committed you are by showing him that you will never need the dress again." EW!

The idea that you are showing commitment is ridiculous, who would rewear a dress to marry a new man? Not many.
