Dear Ariel,
My best friend and soon to be sister in law has been looking for these exact cake toppers(Han Solo and Princess Leia) for her wedding. If you still have them would you be willing to part with them? For a price of course. Please! Please get back in touch with me at, msgingerbreadman@gmail.com

First, as noted in the post, these photos were taken at Lisa Marie Grillos' wedding — not mine.
Second, these "cake toppers" aren't anything special — they're just action figures, which are easy to find on ebay:

Hope this is helpful.

I love it. A friend of mine was at a wedding with a similar cake topper a few months ago.

I can't believe it's so common! My sister had exactly the same figures at her wedding. She made sure the toppers were hidden in the professional photos because everything else she did at the wedding was classic and modern. I'm now trying to figure out which characters would suit my fiance and myself… looks like we'll have to make a few toy store visits.

These "cake toppers" are really just action figures — easily findable on ebay!

Actually, a very good friend of mine (who I sadly lost touch with during the relevant period) did that when he got married 10 years ago…

I like that idea. I think I'm going to do a Lego one for mine.

I love toys as cake toppers! They are so telling about couples and the individuals themselves. I mean you could even go as far as using action figures from totally different shows/movies/cartoons. Like a He-Man and a Strawberry Shortcake.
